"Dying of Money: Lessons of the Great German and American Inflations"

by Jens O. Parsson

This book, the only edition of which was published in 1974, is a vivid and thorough recounting of the mechanics of inflation throughout history (with a special emphasis on the US and the Weimar Republic, Germany).

It is currently being offered for sale on eBay at a starting bid of $699, a fact that would no doubt amuse the author.

Dying of Money should be considered required reading for the world.s top financiers, since they will eventually have to grapple with the awful results of massive money printing on a global scale.

Topics covered include the German inflation of 1914-1923; the rise of the great American inflation; the general theory of inflation; and the American prognosis.
